‘Dynasty Warriors M’ from Nexon and Koei Tecmo Announced for iOS/Android Release – TouchArcade

It takes a true gaming connoisseur to appreciate the joys of a Warriors game. You should have one of those cute people drinking cups (Jumpin’ Jared Nelson informed me that it’s called a wine glass?), some good smelling cheese, and a shiny plate (a tray??) next to you while you cut the hundreds, no, thousands of your enemies with a wide range of attacks. Unfortunately, that joy is pretty hard to come by on mobile, and it’s not for lack of trying. But it looks like we have another turn of the wheel, friends. It seems the lovely people at Nexon have gone and licensed the Dynasty Warriors brand from Koei Tecmo and bring Dynasty Warriors M () to iOS and Android later this year.

In fact, the game appears to be in slow launch in a few Asian countries. For the rest of us, it simply shows up as a pre-order with a placeholder date of December 31, 2023. Nexon says it’s coming this winter, so that’s all worth checking out. So what can we expect from this one? Well, for starters, it’s free-to-play IAPs. I believe is the a Nexon game, after all. The description talks about collecting officials, so I imagine monetization will be linked to that aspect. But let’s see! At any rate, I’ll let the description from the App Store do the rest of the talking.

Which is common sounds it seems Warriors game, I can say. The screenshots don’t tell us much so far, but it looks like it’s using assets from Dynasty Warriors 9. That’s a decent enough base to work with, but we’ll have to play around with it ourselves to see if it’s the silk jacket experience or just a pleather coat. If you have participated in the soft launch, please comment below on your experiences so far.
