Samsung has announced that it has partnered with MasterCard for Wallet Express, a new program for MasterCard designed to help banks provide digital wallets to their customers.
By including Wallet Express, issuers can offer Samsung Wallet to their customers. In turn, consumers have multiple ways to make payments, including through their Galaxy wearable devices. Paying with Galaxy Watch brings more speed and convenience to the in-store shopping experience.
Teg Dosanjh, Vice President, Samsung Electronics Europe, commented: “We are excited to join Mastercard’s Wallet Express to give consumers greater flexibility to pay wherever they need. Millions of people already choose Samsung Wallet, and this partnership will give even more people the opportunity to use the secure Samsung Pay service on their Galaxy devices.
